Because
we have such a wonderful mix of people in our neighborhood
,not everyone is going to think and feel like everyone
else. We have received a number of complaints
about barking dogs, parking, noise, etc. Our DCC&Rs
give the Association very specific guidelines on what
we can enforce. Many of the issues, like those
listed above are covered under our Sachse city ordinances.
In some cases, we as an Association may send a friendly
letter out to a neighbor advising them of a certain
complaint. This may be done in an attempt to avoid
involving city enforcement. We as an Association
of Residents respectfully ask all residents to comply
with all city animal and noise ordinances. Please
don't let your pets run free in the neighborhood and
bark late into the night. If they use a neighbors
yard to answer the call of nature, respect your neighbor
and clean up after your pet.
Covenants
One
of the projects that we as a community need to undertake
is the review of our Declaration of Covenants, Conditions
and Restrictions known as the DCCR's. Please review
these documents and let us know what comments you may
have. Your input is vital to this effort.
We will be looking to coordinate a community vote on
the changes as soon as we have received your input.
Please contact a member of the board for information

Pocket Rocket Motorcycles
Many residents have expressed concern about the small
"Pocket Bike" motorcycles that have popped up in the
neighborhood. These miniature motorcycles are
illegal to operate on public roadways, according to
the Texas Department of Public Safety.
